BPL-003

BPL-003 is Beckley Psytech’s intranasal 5-MeO-DMT benzoate program, tracked by SCM as a distinct company asset in the 5-MeO-DMT program map.

Status

Beckley Psytech program with TRD and adjacent AUD source spines; not interchangeable with GH001.

BPL-003 is Beckley Psytech’s intranasal 5-MeO-DMT benzoate program. In SCM coverage, it should be tracked as a distinct company asset, not collapsed into a generic 5-MeO-DMT story.

The route/formulation distinction matters: BPL-003 is intranasal, while GH001 is GH Research’s inhaled mebufotenin program.

BPL-003 is relevant to SCM because it sits next to GH001 in the same broad 5-MeO-DMT / mebufotenin neighborhood, while using a different sponsor, formulation, route, and evidence spine.

Treatment-resistant depression is the main comparison lane. Alcohol-use disorder is adjacent BPL-003 context: useful for understanding program breadth, but not a reason to blur BPL-003 with every Beckley or atai asset.

BPL-003 has company-readout, regulatory-designation, registry, and publication anchors. Keep those categories separate. A breakthrough-therapy designation is not the same thing as approval, and a company topline is not the same thing as a peer-reviewed efficacy paper unless the paper is pinned.

Do not transfer GH001’s peer-reviewed phase 2b signal onto BPL-003. Compare the programs side by side, but keep each claim attached to the source that supports it.
